CK High steel beams

When structural steel arrives on a construction site, it's a major milestone. The bones of the building take shape, and you can easily see just how quickly our projects are progressing. It's exciting to see our new additions and schools rise!

CK High & CK Middle Schools

crews place steel at ck campusStatus: The first steel beam was placed shortly after the new year. Now, the center of the school is on the rise. Masonry walls for the CKMS gym are up.

What's Next: Crews will continue to place steel in the center and middle school areas. 

Olympic High School

Concrete and framing are visible on the OHS campus
Status
: Steel was delivered to the campus. Masonry walls around the performing arts center are nearly done.

What's Next: Steel beams will go up to frame the core and its second floor.

Klahowya Secondary School

Siding is going on an addition at Klahowya

Status: Utilities and walls went up inside the the first addition, which connects to the main building. Steel erection is nearly complete for the west wing.

What's Next: Flooring, cabinetry and other finishing work will start on three new classrooms, which open this winter. 

Safety & Security

New security vestibules will have locking entrances
Status
: Bid requests are out for work on secure entrances at Emerald Heights, Silver Ridge and Ridgetop.

What's Next: Schools will prepare for construction in late winter to early spring.
