Boxes Out, Construction Crews In at Silverdale Elementary
Silverdale Elementary Staff Pack Up for Temporary Move
Posted on 06/18/2015

A week after school let out, staff and moving crews boxed up everything inside Silverdale Elementary.

Custodian Bruce Baldwin labeled boxes to make sure all classroom supplies got to their new temporary homes during renovation.

Most of the school's contents were moved to Ridgetop Middle School. To protect safety and learning, students and staff will move to “host schools" such as Ridgetop. Other host schools included Silver Ridge Elementary and Cottonwood Elementary.

When everything was moved, construction crews were able to get in and start their work.

The building will look very different once their work is complete.

In 2016, Silverdale staff will get to pack up again and move in for good to their newly modernized school.
