Celebrating Native American Heritage

During the month of November, Central Kitsap Schools recognizes and celebrates the rich and diverse cultures, traditions, languages, histories, and contributions of present and past indigenous staff, students, families, and community members.

You are invited to our annual  Native American Heritage Month Celebration:

Wednesday, Nov. 16
6 -7 pm
Central Kitsap Middle School, 3850 NW Anderson Hill Road, Silverdale

We invite you to learn about Kitsap County tribes by visiting and supporting them. For more information, explore the Suquamish Tribe website and the Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribe website.

You can also learn about other tribes in Washington state and across the nation by visiting the following:

We continue to create welcoming and inclusive environments for all students, families, and communities. CK Schools highlights and celebrates national history and heritage months as a district and in schools throughout the year.
