The Operations Service Center on Dickey Road allowed us to consolidate our transportation, food service and warehouse departments. The building opened in August 2017.
The moves of those departments also allowed the district to start construction on the Central Kitsap High School and CK Middle School rebuilding project.
Work on the project was made possible thanks to voter support of a capital projects measure in 2011. The measure also allowed the district to rebuild Hawk Elementary at Jackson Park and remodel Silverdale Elementary, as well as make repairs and upgrade technology districtwide.
