
We are so proud of the hard work shown by our many spring student athletes! Here are a few highlights from the season.
Klahowya Secondary
Track& Field
A dozen student track and field athletes qualified to compete in state meets.
Kelton Gagnon earned THREE state titles in this year’s competitions. He set a 1A meet record in the 800, and claimed wins in the 1,600 and 3,200 as well!
Adding to the medal count was freshman Natalie Oathout who placed third in the 3200 meter. She also had the second best time in school history.
Softball
With a 5-3 win over Cascade Christian, the softball team punched a ticket to the state competition in Richland.
Golf
Jorgie Neshem qualified for the state golf tournament in Spokane.

Baseball
Baseball advanced to state with an 8-2 win over Vashon in district playoffs.

Olympic High
Track & Field

Three track and field athletes competed at state and all three brought home medals!
- Jaden Bluitt earned 4th place in the high jump
- Sara Leasiolagi earned a 3rd in the discus event, as well as 7th in shot put
- Gavin Triplett earned 8th in shot put
Fastpitch
This year’s Trojan Fastpitch team had the first fastpitch state playoff win in school history!
Tennis
Kaiya Moore and Claire Caldwell were district champions, played at state but had to be medically retired because of an injury. Bailey Walton competed in the singles event.

Golf
In golf, Tayana Ignacio and Jacob Gesell competed at state.

Central Kitsap
Track & Field
A busload of 21 track and field student athletes headed out to 3A state competitions.

As a team, CK High girls earned sixth place in the 3A division. Individual and relay accomplishments included:
- Kymeal Gaulden with a 2nd place in the 200, 3rd in the 100
- Relay team: Aaliyah Chandler, Kymeal Gaulden, Jada Kopp and Sophia Mills placed 3rd in the 4X100
- Relay team: Steven Dunbar, Dawson Fourier, Dakarai Moten and Blake Reynolds placed 4th in the 4x400
- Blake Reynolds also placed 5th in the 800
- Carley Wilson placed 7th in javelin
Golf

Boys Soccer
The boys soccer team also appeared at the state tournament at Seattle Memorial Stadium.
