Bond Dollars Going to Work

CKMS and CKHS students talk with architects
Klahowya leaders and architects tour the school
Olympic High students look at design plans

Students and staff have met with architects on designs for (from top) the Central Kitsap High and Central Kitsap Middle campus, the addition to Klahowya Secondary, and the addition and renovation work at Olympic High School.

We can now put our community’s bond dollars to work.

Investors snapped up Central Kitsap bonds, and funds became available May 12. We are grateful that the sale was made possible through the community's support of a capital projects measure in February.

We started planning and design for Klahowya Secondary, Olympic High and the Central Kitsap High and Central Kitsap Middle campus.

Design plans for Klahowya and Olympic will be available later this year.

Critical and required repairs begin this summer. Crews will:

  • Resurface the track at Fairview Middle School
  • Install doors at PineCrest Elementary
  • Add locker rooms and improve access to Silverdale Stadium

Read more about all the planned projects on our bonds page.
