At our secondary school construction sites, drywall, windows and exterior finishes are making it easier to picture students and staff walking inside them.

Klahowya Secondary

Status: A scoreboard is up in the auxiliary gym. Drywall is going up in the west classrooms. Siding covers much of the north side of the building. » See more photos

What's Next: Crews will begin installing flooring in the gym and continue to work on the west classrooms.   

Olympic High School

Status: All concrete floors were poured on the second floor. Kitchen equipment is being installed. Drywall is going up and windows are going in to sections of the building. Exterior brick has been installed along the west and northeast side of the building. » See more photos

What's Next: Construction crews will focus work on classrooms, kitchen and CTE areas. Crews are working in multiple shifts with about 120 people on at a time.

CK High & Middle

CKMS Inside

Status: Roofing is underway for the high school and middle school. Windows are going in. Brick veneer is being installed on the south façade. Light poles for the new tennis courts and high school football field are in place. » See more photos

What’s next: The career and technical education building will start to rise. Work will continue on tennis courts, football and baseball fields.

Safety & Security 

RMS entrance

Status: Early stages of design work have begun for the third phase of school security improvements, which will include Clear Creek, Cottonwood, Cougar Valley, Fairview Middle School, Green Mountain and Hawk. Work is nearing completion at Silver Ridge and Ridgetop.

What's Next: Work on Emerald Heights is expected to be complete next month. Design work will continue for phase two projects.
