Transfer Requests

Translation and Interpretation

Thank you for your interest in Central Kitsap Schools. Students are encouraged to enroll at their attendance area school, however, if your family would prefer to enroll at a school outside your neighborhood, you can submit a transfer request.

Space must be available in a school and/or program before we can approve a transfer and we give priority to resident students of Central Kitsap School District. Transfers are approved on an annual basis and need to be submitted each school year.

Please email [email protected] if you have any questions.

Athletic Eligibility

Please visit Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) Student Eligibility Center for information about how transfers can impact athletic eligibility.

Most district programs and schools are at capacity and will be unable to accept new transfer students.

Please note that the following schools are closed for new transfer students for the 2024-25 school year:

  • Central Kitsap Middle School
  • Central Kitsap High School
  • Clear Creek Elementary School
  • PineCrest Elementary School
  • Woodlands Elementary School

Requests received after April 30, 2024, will be reviewed when school offices reopen late August.
