Free & Reduced Price Meals

Note: If your child attends one of the following schools, please visit our Community Eligibility Provision page to learn about free meals at your school:

  • Barker Creek
  • Esquire Hills
  • Fairview
  • PineCrest
  • Woodlands

If your child does not attend these schools, you can apply for the Free or Reduced Price Meal Program at any time during the school year. The federal government sets eligibility guidelines based on household income and size.

Reduced price lunches for grade K–12  are free. Reduced price breakfasts for grades K–12 are free.

Step 1: Find Out Who May Qualify

Step 2: Gather Required Information

When you fill out your application, you’ll need to provide:

  • Names and incomes of every member of your household
  • School, grade and birth date of every student in your household
  • Signature and date (electronic signature for online application)
  • Last four digits of your social security number (only exception is for foster children)
  • Email address or phone number 

Step 3: Apply

To apply online, visit Titan Lunch Application. When you complete your application, you’ll get an email letting you know that the system has sent us your application. 

If you’d prefer to apply offline, you can download an application (pdf) or pick up a copy at your school office. Return printed applications at a school during meal pickup, or you can return it to the Child Nutrition Office at 9104 Dickey Rd NW, Silverdale.

You only need to apply once per household.

If you qualify for free- or reduced-price meals, we’ll send you an automated phone message. If your application is denied, we will email or mail you a notification letter.

Step 4: Re-apply Each School Year

You will need to reapply each year. If we don’t receive a new application within the first 30 schools days, we will charge your child’s food account the full cost of a meal served.
