School Board Seeking Volunteers to Write For/Against Statements for Local Voters’ Pamphlet
During its meeting on November 29, the CK Schools Board of Directors voted unanimously to ask the community to vote on renewing a school support levy during the special election on February 13, 2024. This replacement levy helps pay for things the state doesn’t fully fund, including safety and security personnel, special education, sports and activities, and student supports.
In compliance with state law, the board is seeking applications from citizens interested in being appointed to a committee to write the for/against statements for the Kitsap County Local Voters’ Pamphlet related to this ballot measure.

The school board will act on these appointments during its regular meeting on Wednesday, December 13.
